Key Responsibilities:

*develop and manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects

*conduct inspections and address any quality issues to ensure work meets the highest standards

*lead and motivate a team to meet ETAs while still adhering to quality standards

*oversee the maintenance and repair of all workshop machinery

*manage workshop resources effectively, including materials, tools, and personnel

*Implement and enforce protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.

*maintain communication channels with all team members

*minimum 15 years of experience in the engineering industry

*line boring and welding expertise

*Managing CNC machining operations, including programming, setup, and operation of CNC milling and turning machines. 

*Strong understanding of EDGECAM software and its application in CNC programming

*A mechanical engineering qualification is preferred. 

*Strong understanding and commitment to safety protocols. 

*Ensuring that all work is completed to the highest quality standards and meets customer specifications

*Proficiency in operating different types of lathes (manual, CNC), understanding their functions, and performing routine maintenance
