we are looking for a diesel qualified diesel mechanic
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues on diesel engines and vehicles.
- Using diagnostic tools and software to identify problems.
- Repairing or replacing engine, transmission, steering, braking, and other components.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tune-ups, and brake repairs.
- Performing preventative maintenance to prevent future problems.
- Inspecting vehicles and equipment to ensure proper performance.
Minimum of Grade 12 certificate
> Must be in a possession of a recognized appropriate Trade Test certificate
>2-5 years work experience as a diesel mechanic
>experience with Volvo and Man trucks ,fridges genset units ,underslang ,gensets,
>experience with trailer maintenance and any similar functions related with maintaining a fleet of heavy duty trucks and trailers
>based in Mitchell Plein Cape Town
